The Brooklyn Nets will be without Kevin Durant until after the All-Star break as he continues to rehabilitate his hamstring. Head coach Steve Nash gave a unique comparison for Durant as he stays on the shelf with the injury.

Nash really wants Durant back and the Nets can't wait to have their talented trio back together again. However, it's going to have to wait a little bit longer.

Durant being compared to a Lambo isn't too outrageous, especially after the year he's had. He's averaging 29 points with 7.3 boards and 5.3 assists and has been the best player in Brooklyn this year, and that's saying a lot.

Kyrie Irving and James Harden have held down the fort with Durant out and Nash's squad has won their past eight games to head towards the top of the Eastern Conference and right on the heels of the Philadelphia 76ers.

This team has been just as advertised, extremely good on offense and not too good on defense, although the latter has improved in recent weeks. Still, having a guy like Durant out, for the time being, hurts this team regardless of how well they are playing.

Jayson Tatum replaced Durant in the All-Star starting lineup and Domantas Sabonis replaced him on the roster for the Eastern Conference All-Stars, although it remains to be seen if Durant will be a captain still or not.

Nash can't wait to take the Lambo out for a spin again as the playoffs continue to get closer, and the patience of the first-year head coach will have to be used a little longer until Durant is fully healthy.

When he does return, it's safe to say Nash will use his Lambo-type superstar to his disposal as the Nets push forth with championship aspirations in hopes of hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy in the summer.
