Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen has been the king of denying people at the rim this season. His latest victim is Boston Celtics rookie Robert Williams.

“Time Lord” appeared to have a clean look at a dunk after Terry Rozier found him cutting to the basket. Allen came out of nowhere to block the dunk attempt, pinning the ball into a wedgie, which would make The Starters salivate for sure.

These blocks at the cup have certainly been a thing for Jarrett Allen this year. His most memorable ones came against the NBA's brightest stars: Lakers superstar LeBron James, reigning MVP James Harden, and leading MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Allen picked up two blocks on the night, and finished with 10 points and seven rebounds. More importantly, the Nets secured a much-needed home win after going through a brutal seven-game road trip in which they finished 2-5.

That stretch put their playoff hopes in jeopardy. However, with their 110-96 win Saturday night, they are now currently in seventh place, but just one game ahead of the ninth-place Orlando Magic.

All-Star guard D'Angelo Russell led the Nets with 29 points, 10 assists, and four 3-pointers. He had 20 of his 29 in a crucial third quarter to help Brooklyn pull away from Boston, which was playing without Kyrie Irving and Al Horford.

Every game counts from now on for Brooklyn. However, this final stretch of the season will be a baptism of fire for these young Nets.

Their last five contests will all be against Eastern Conference rivals: two against the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks, one against the two-seed Toronto Raptors, one against the Indiana Pacers, and the last against the Miami Heat, which is also competing for a playoff berth.
