The Cincinnati Bengals can now breathe a sigh of relief.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green is not going to be suspended for a scuffle he had with Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey during last Sunday’s 23-7 road loss.
No other players, not AJ Green nor any Cardinals nor 49ers, will be suspended for Sunday’s actions, per league official.

Green blew his top on Ramsey, whom he said had gotten under his skin, but his outburst was also likely a product of a frustrating performance. Green saw just two targets and only had a catch for a measly total of six receiving yards against the Jaguars.
While Green did not have a great day, it is certainly worth noting that he was given the boot prior to halftime. No one knows what could have happened after the half, although, A.J. Green has no one but himself to blame for being tossed.
It was easily the worst outing by the 29-year-old to date this season, though it should also be noted that the Jaguars own the best defense against the pass in the NFL today, allowing just 156.4 passing yards per game. Nevertheless, that’s not enough reason for Green to be the Andre Johnson to Ramsey’s Courtland Finnegan.
The Bengals dropped to 3-5 and now sit on the third place of the AFC North and potentially losing Green would make their climb up the standings a harder task than it already is. With Green somehow escaping a suspension, Cincy will have their most dangerous weapon downfield in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans on the road. The team will need him.
