The Cleveland Browns were able to get a winning streak going against the Miami Dolphins in Week 12. Wide receiver Jarvis Landry was also able to exact some revenge on his old team in the process.

Landry had himself a monster day with 10 receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown in the 41-24 victory. Although he enjoyed putting up big numbers, the win over the Dolphins was nothing special from a personal standpoint, via 92.3 The Fan:

“It didn’t mean extra, but it was fun,” Landry said. “Definitely was fun.”

The prospect of this game not meaning anything extra for Landry may seem a bit far-fetched. After all, they had opted to trade him to the Browns rather than keep him around for a lucrative payday.

Regardless, it appears that Landry has no hard feelings towards his former team. The trade was ultimately a solid move for him in hindsight as he helped spark an influx of star power in Cleveland. While this team is still struggling to meet the high expectations they set in the offseason, they are still much better off than Miami is at this time.

Despite the arrival of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Landry remains the No. 1 option for quarterback Baker Mayfield. He has managed to kick his play up a notch entering the final stretch of the season after now scoring a touchdown in four straight games. More importantly, the Browns' passing game seems to finally be starting to realize its potential.

Landry may be downplaying the notion of being able to stick it to the Dolphins, however, it is safe to say that he still ultimately got the last laugh.
