New England Patriots veteran Tom Brady is arguably the greatest quarterback in the history of football. He also ages as well as any human who has ever walked the planet. Apparently, part of the reason Brady hasn't aged out of the National Football League quickly is that he's not pushed too hard to practice just for the sake of it.

For those unaware, Brady randomly showed up on the team's injury report this week. It was mostly out of nowhere. The Achilles injury kept him out of practice on Wednesday. However, as quickly as you can say TB-12, he was back at it on Thursday — though, it is worth noting, it was only in a limited capacity.

Hot-take: When you have someone like Tom Brady, who has been around the NFL since before dinosaurs were extinct, it is OK if he doesn't fully participate in practice. In fact, I would argue that someone of Brady's ilk should never be allowed to fully go in practice at this point in is career. Save his juice for when it matters most.

Here is where things get a bit tricky, at least if you want perception to alter your reality; Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman recently saw his season end due to playing football despite having an Achilles injury. That bad boy ruptured on him only a few weeks ago.

Nevertheless, Brady isn't playing an explosive position like defensive back or wide receiver. He's behind center, hurling around the pigskin for large sums of money and many New England victories. Something tells me that he will be fine.
