With the AFC Championship Game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots only a few days away, the primary concern for the defending Super Bowl champions is the health of superstar quarterback Tom Brady.

Earlier this week, news surfaced about Brady suffering an injury to his right hand in practice. This became a major issue for the Patriots for obvious reasons and the team only one win away from returning to the Super Bowl. Although Brady's hand remains a concern moving forward, New England was able to get him back on the practice field on Thursday, via Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal.

Fortunately for Brady and the Patriots, no structural damage was found in his right hand after X-rays were taken earlier this week. The five-time Super Bowl champion reportedly jammed his hand while getting run into at practice causing the issue which will likely be a storyline for the rest of the way for New England.

As expected, the Patriots are heavily favored to advance to the Super Bowl for the third time in a four-year span. The hand injury will continue to be monitored by the team leading up to the game on Sunday in which the team will host the Jacksonville Jaguars at Gillette Stadium.

If the Patriots are able to get a win to advance, the team will face the win over the NFC Championship Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings which will be played after the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
