The Philadelphia Eagles have gotten off to a slow start to the season and currently sitting with a 2-2 record. There seems to be some sense of panic around the league about what the Eagles have shown this year, but coach Doug Pederson is taking a different approach. He is saying the team needs to have a greater “sense of urgency” but isn't hitting the panic button just yet.

“For us to play like champions, first of all, we have to understand that we are champions, and … you're expected to play a certain way,” Pederson said, via Philly.com. “When you don't live up to that expectation, we need to just zero down on it and figure out why. The sense of urgency from players and coaches needs to heighten just a little bit. It's not a panic mode, but it's a heightened awareness of who we are as a football team, where we want to get to and we have to eliminate these penalties because they're coming at the wrong time and turnovers are coming at the wrong time.”

Pederson also didn't rule out making some lineup changes if things don't change soon. The Eagles have a target on their back being the Super Bowl champions from last year.

The Eagles play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, a team that also has a sense of urgency to win now.
