Pittsburgh Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was born the year (1996) Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri entered the National Football League. When The Steelers meet Indianapolis Colts this weekend, the game will feature the oldest player in the league facing off against the youngest.

Obviously, as the lede infers, Vinatieri is the oldest with Smith-Schuster being the youngster.

Adam Vinatieri is 44-years-old. While not exactly old in terms of non-athlete age, it is near ancient when it comes within the context of being a football player. We can argue about the semantics about whether or not a kicker is actually an athlete a different time.

More impact, at least in terms of points scored, than most players who play more downs.

Hooray for the Colts, I guess?

As for JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is still only 20-years-old, he has burst on the scene a big way for the Steelers this season.

He has also become a social media darling. Between his touchdown celebrations to how he handled his bike getting stolen, there are plenty of reasons to root for the kid.

Still, he won't be able to legally buy adult beverages until a little later this month. He celebrates his 21st birthday on November 22.
