New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady seems to be all set for a marquee showdown this coming Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Just days after taking a humble pie in the face in the form of a 27-20 road loss to Jay Cutler and the Miami Dolphins, Brady is back on the field and practicing in full for the first time since Week 11, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald.

“Just feeling better,” Brady said, dismissing the idea that a Monday night loss to the Dolphins had any effect on his practice schedule. “It’s a short week, so I just try to get out there and practice. I take it week to week, and I feel really good this week so I’m very happy about that.”

That Brady practiced in full this week also points out to the importance of the matchup with Pittsburgh. The 11-2 Steelers currently own the AFC’s best record, but if the Patriots won the upcoming meeting, they’d leave Heinz Field owning the home field advantage in the playoffs.

Brady didn’t look sharp against the Dolphins, passing for 233 yards on 24-of-43 completions with only a touchdown and two interceptions, so he’s definitely looking for a nice bounce back, which could come at the expense of Pittsburgh.

The five-time Super Bowl champion appears to enjoy facing the Steelers, as Brady is 7-2-0 in nine games in his career head-to-head with Pittsburgh dating back to 2002.
