The Minnesota Vikings have gotten off to a promising start to the season currently holding one of the best records in the league at 9-2 through the first 11 games.
Along the way, it has seen the further emergence of fourth-year wide receiver Adam Thielen establishing himself as one of the top receivers. According to Courtney Cronin of ESPN, Thielen became the first wideout for the Vikings to break 1,000 receiving yards on the season.
Adam Thielen reached a career and franchise milestone on Thanksgiving, becoming the first Minnesota Vikings receiver since Sidney Rice in 2009 to reach 1,000 yards in a season.
It has been a breakout year for the 27-year-old putting up elite numbers recording 70 catches for 1,005 receiving yards and three touchdowns on the season. He has recorded at least five catches in each contest while registering more than 100 yards three times and more than 80 yards on seven occasions including the last four straight games.
Former Vikings wideout Sidney took a moment to acknowledge Thielen accomplishment by taking to Twitter to personally congratulate him for the impressive feat.

Thielen's journey to the NFL has been quite remarkable as he went undrafted out of the Minnesota State, which is a Division II school. He was able to latch onto his favorite team during his childhood and become a superstar in the league.
With five more games left this season, Thielen has a chance to add to his career-best campaign while helping lead the Viking to a potentially deep playoff run.
