The Denver Nuggets have a star on their hands and they should do everything in their power to make him a Nugget for a very long time. I'm talking about Nikola Jokic who is breaking records left and right so far this season. The 23-year-old is having a career year with the Nuggets as he recorded the fastest double-double in NBA history. He may have the fastest double-double but he is no stranger when it comes to a triple-double.

The big man for the Nuggets had another excellent night on Friday as he recorded yet another triple-double on the season with his 23 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in their win against the Detroit Pistons. According to Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype, the 23-year old broke yet another record.

Nikola Jokic (23 years old) already has the most triple-doubles of any European player in NBA history. He's just 3 triple-doubles away from passing Hakeem Olajuwon as the foreign-born player with the most triple-doubles.

Jokic recorded his 8th triple-double of the season and may not stop there with the amount of success he is having so far this season. In the season thus far, Jokic is averaging a double-double per game with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Jokic can easily draw the opposing team towards him as he is not selfish player and clearly wants to win. He makes incredible decisions on the court and will only get better throughout his NBA career. It's only a matter of time before Jokic is averaging a near triple-double every single game.
