The Atlanta Hawks have just won seven straight games. Let that sink in.

Young himself could not be more proud of this group as they navigate through one of their most successful stints in recent years:

“It feels good winning seven straight,” Young said. “Obviously we're not satisfied. We want to continue to win, continue to strive to be better.”

Young poured it on against the Thunder, scoring 23 points on an efficient 9-of-15 shooting. He also added six boards, nine assists, and just two turnovers on the evening. Trae also logged just 25 minutes in this one, and he had a bit of extra rest with his team cruising to victory against a hapless Oklahoma City side.

The month of March has been good for the Hawks as they've won all seven contests thus far. They get a tough, tough test in their next outing, though, as they face off against the defending champs, the Los Angeles Lakers, on Saturday in Staples Center. That will mark the start of an extended eight-game road trip for Atlanta, so it goes without saying that Thursday's win was a big one for the Hawks.
