Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders has been extremely impressed with what he's seen from the New England Patriots defense thus far this season.

The Patriots moved to 3-o on the season with a win over the New York Jets in Week 3, and once again, it was a fine defensive effort from Bill Belichick's team.

While the Jets were able to score 14 points in the game, none of them came against the New England defense since one was an interception return and the other was on special teams.

It was another stellar performance from the Patriots, and Sanders continues to be wowed by what their able to do on that side of the ball.

Here's what he had to say about the defense, courtesy of Patriots Wire:

“These guys only gave up 105 yards today,” Sanders said. ” You know how good you are when you only relinquish 105 yards to opposing team’s entire offense that has Le’Veon Bell at running back? Unbelievable.”

We talk so much about this offense, but we’re forgetting about this defense. When this defense has performed like this in the past, they’ve won Super Bowls. I mean Super Bowls, plural. And these guys are playing lights out. I have never seen them at this level defensively, no one has scored.”

While the Jets are struggling without starting quarterback Sam Darnold, it doesn't take anything away from New England's ability to put together a flawless game plan.

Tom Brady and the offense will continue to be the main focus, but the Patriots' defense is already proving its worth as the NFL's best through three weeks.
