Everyone has been carrying a heavy heart following the sudden passing of actor, Chadwick Boseman on Friday. Julian Edelman, the veteran wide receiver of the New England Patriots, honored Boseman with an emotional Instagram post.

After his tragic passing on Friday night, it was discovered that Boseman was battling colon cancer since 2016. Despite his cancer diagnosis, Boseman proceeded to make plenty of everlasting movies, including “Black Panther” and “42,” a movie detailing the story of Jackie Robinson — the first African-American baseball player to play in the MLB.

Besides the people close to him, not many people were aware of Boseman's battle with cancer. Nevertheless, he continued to sport a smile on his face and was a real-life superhero in the world. With that in mind, Edelman viewed Boseman as an inspiration, stating that Boseman ‘changed the world' amid his battles with cancer.

When hearing the unfortunate news on Friday night, everyone was taken aback by Boseman's death. At 43 years old, Boseman had accomplished so much and had so much ahead of him as a person. Even people that don't know him personally have been emotionally touched by Boseman.

Many athletes expressed their emotions after Boseman passed away, with many of them giving homage to his role in “Black Panther.” The NBA has also been holding moments of silence for Boseman before games this weekend, along with Cliff Robinson and Lute Olson.

There's no doubt that Boseman made a massive impact on everyone while he was on Earth. And it appears his strength and courage in the years leading up to his death has motivated the star wideout of the Patriots.
