Those hoping to see New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady back on Saturday Night Live received some disappointing news after the future Hall of Famer said during a recent appearance on WEEI’s Mut & Callahan that fans shouldn’t expect him to book a return trip to the popular late-night weekend variety show because he has enough on his plate.

Via TMZ Sports:

“I'm basically on a reality TV show every Sunday afternoon for 3 hours so I feel like I'm on TV enough in the Fall and Winter.”

It’s been over a decade since Tom Brady made his last SNL appearance, which was way back in 2005. During that guesting, Brady played the role of a guy who has a spaghetti for an arm.

At 41 years old, Brady is still going strong in the NFL. He remains in command of the Patriots’ offense, which he’ll look to resuscitate after stalling in a 34-10 road loss to the Tennessee Titans back in Week 10.

Off the field, Brady has indeed been busy, too. He and his family have tried their hands on a reality show of their own, with “Tom vs. Time” documentary having been shown on Facebook Watch from January to March of this year.

Maybe once he walks away from football, Brady can find more time to focus on guesting opportunities. For now, his eyes are on the prize that is the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
