The New England Patriots were already in the midst of a dominant showing, having shut out the New York Jets in the first half of their Week 7 matchup. It appears both them and quarterback Sam Darnold have picked up where they left off to begin the second quarter.

The Patriots defense came through once again after Darnold threw his third interception of the day to cornerback Stephon Gilmore.

Although New England has been clicking on all cylinders up to this point, it was only a matter of time before Gilmore made his presence felt. He is widely considered the best corner in the league and he continues to solidify that notion with another spectacular outing against New York.

Darnold was heard talking about how he was “seeing ghosts” while on the sidelines. It appears there may be some truth to this after this elite Patriots defense has now forced him to commit four turnovers in just over a half of play.
