The New Orleans Pelicans have yet to enlist the services of their number one overall pick Zion Williamson in an official NBA game. According to NBA Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Reggie Miller, the 19-year-old athletic wonder will make his NBA debut soon.

“A little birdie whispered in my ear that his rehab is on schedule and he will definitely be back by mid-December,” Miller, who was calling the game between the Pelicans and the Phoenix Suns, said on Thursday.

Williamson has yet to play for New Orleans this season after injuring his right knee over the summer. He played in four preseason games for the Pels and proved why he deserves the number one billing in this year’s draft, averaging 23.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 steals, and 1.5 steals.

The Pelicans have gone 5-9 without Williamson.
