After being posterized and stared down by Kristaps Porzingis of the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, Andre Drummond flocked to Twitter to share his reaction.
Drummond couldn't believe that Porzingis had the audacity to slam one down on him and stare him down, claiming that he and the Latvian are good buddies.
Porzingis' filthy spike was just two of his 20 points in their 122-111 win over the Pistons. He also snagged eight rebounds, was 8-of-18 from the field, and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
Luka Doncic led the team with a monster triple-double: 41 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. He also knocked down six 3-pointers in 13 attempts. Seth Curry dropped 30 points — one point shy of his career-high — which included six 3-pointers in nine attempts, as well as seven rebounds and four assists.
For his part, Drummond led the Pistons with 23 points and 15 rebounds. He currently leads the league in rebounding with 16.7 rebounds per game. Derrick Rose added 19 points off the bench, Markieff Morris had 16 markers, and Blake Griffin had 10 points.
It was a lopsided affair throughout. The Mavericks led by as much as 24 points as the Pistons simply had no answer for the Mavs' potent offense led by Doncic. The Pistons settled for outside shots and suffered because of it.
