The Houston Rockets have now won their last two games, as they beat the Sacramento Kings 102-94 on Saturday. John Wall, who just recently came back from COVID-19 quarantine, scored 28 points along with six assists and four boards.

Wall reflected on his journey to get to where he is now, especially after missing two years of basketball and being dealt to the Rockets during the past offseason.

John Wall attributed his success to the hard work that he has put in to play in the NBA at a competitive level once again. Despite his struggles, especially during a pandemic, Wall's motivation is what got him through his adversity.

The new Rockets guard, who also put up 22 points, six rebounds, and nine assists in his previous game, is looking like his old, explosive self again. Now paired up with former Kentucky Wildcat DeMarcus Cousins and the eve-dangerous James Harden, Houston has a legitimate chance of competing in the Western Conference and into the playoffs.

The Rockets found themselves in a hole starting the 2020-21 NBA season, as they got off to 0-2 along with the controversy surrounding Harden's distracting behavior. However, with Wall's leadership and drive directing the team to victory, Houston has the potential to be a playoff and NBA title contender.
