John Krasinski of “The Office” fame took to Twitter to urge his followers to send selfies with their voting sticker. One fan decided to send a picture of Chris Paul and his wife to Krasinski. The actor bought the harmless prank hook, line, and sinker.

This is something that Jim Halpert would do to Dwight Schrute in “The Office” because identity theft is a crime, Jim.

It's ironic that John Krasinski was fooled by this prank considering his character in “The Office” is one of the most notorious pranksters in television history. Vinny turned the tables on Jim this time, though.

Election day is a huge day for the country and even more so in today's divisive political climate. Celebrities, athletes, and everyone in between are urging their fellow Americans to vote. Krasinski may have been fooled by this prankster, but in a funny way, it actually brings more attention to Krasinski's message about the importance of voting.

As the polls close, the country will learn how these historic midterms will turn out. There are a number of important local elections, races for governor's mansions, as well as the grudge match for both houses of Congress. A few players and coaches in the NBA have already urged fans to get out and vote in the midterms.
