Respawn Entertainment is back at it again with their Apex Legends cinematics. The new story this time reveals the new Legend, Seer, in an animated short called “Metamorphosis.”

Apex Legends‘ newest legend, Seer was born with cursed eyes that reduce mountains to dust, a king to a beggar, and an ocean to a desert. The cursed child also bears the mark of the moth attached to a micro-drone on his chest. What do these say about Seer's in-game abilities, we wonder? Everyone’s questions about Seer’s abilities will most likely be answered when Season 10 trailer drops this Thursday, July 22.

Apex Legends Season 10 will be titled “Emergence.” Emergence feels like it fits well to the game's lore, immediately following Season 9's Legacy. This Season will see numerous changes to the game, including the new Rampage LMG weapon. Arena, introduced in Season 9, will finally get its’ very own Ranked mode as well. This should pave the way for the eventual rise of Apex Legends Arenas competitive play.

Finally, huge changes are coming to the World’s Edge map. We can expect a more in-depth look at Seer and the arrival of these major changes in the Season 10 launch trailer. Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence will launch on August 3, 2021.
