After just watching Jayson Tatum, the number three overall pick in last years draft, help lead the Boston Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals, while Markelle Fultz sat on the bench, Philadelphia 76ers general manager Bryan Colangelo still says he doesn't regret the pick.

The Celtics traded that number three overall pick, the pick that got Tatum, and a first-round draft pick in a future draft to move up and get Fultz.

The Los Angeles Lakers chose Lonzo Ball at number two, but after each's first season in the league, Tatum looks like he might have the best career, although there is still a lot of time to go.

Colangelo understands that this was a frustrating year for Fultz, but he still believes in everything they saw on tape, and what he can turn into.

“He's an instinctive player, I think he has elite offensive talents, and his body and athleticism will allow him to be elite defensively,” said Colangelo via Kyle Neubeck of The Philly Voice. “Whatever happened this past year has no reflection on what we see in the future”

Another thing that Colangelo and Brett Brown talked about was how important it was to bring in another piece to join with Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and maybe even Fultz if he improves enough to be considered in that conversation.

Although they couldn't talk about it because of the tampering rule, one player they are expected to go hard after is LeBron James, in hopes that he can be the missing piece that helps bring the 76ers back to the promised land.
