Kawhi Leonard has the world waiting for his decision on whether he will return to the Toronto Raptors or sign with one of the Los Angeles teams. But for San Antonio Spurs forward Quincy Pondexter, he wants Leonard to sign elsewhere.

Pondexter took to Twitter to give his take on the ongoing drama about Leonard's free agency. He said that the greatest result would be Kawhi returning to the Spurs.

Leonard spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Spurs before having a fall out during the 2017-18 NBA season. The Spurs reportedly had doubts on Leonard's quad injury, which infuriated the two-time NBA Finals MVP. It eventually led to a trade that sent Leonard and Danny Green to the Raptors.

The 28-year-old hit the free agency market this summer, and he is currently being linked to the Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. The Raps had the chance to make the final pitch to Leonard on Wednesday, but it remains to be seen whether or not they did enough to keep him for another title run next season.

The Lakers are also being tagged as favorites in the race to sign Leonard because of the idea of forming a big three with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Clippers, on the other hand, have long been linked to the three-time All-Star, though it appears the Purple and Gold and Raptors are ahead of them in the chase for Kawhi.
