With Antonio Brown gone the Pittsburgh Steelers need guys to step up, and Ben Roethlisberger thinks JuJu Smith-Schuster is someone that can do that. Roethlisberger has talked to Smith-Schuster a lot this offseason and knows that he is doing everything in his power to be that guy.

“I've talked to [Smith-Schuster] a lot, I've been around him a lot this offseason and I think he's up for the challenge,” Roethlisberger said via 247 Sports. “He's excited. He's working his butt off to be that guy.”

Smith-Schuster has spent the last few weeks in Pittsburgh working out with the team, and it is good to see the star receiver around the team. Replacing Brown is going to take more than just Smith-Schuster, and other guys are going to need to step up too.

If opposing teams can put double teams on Smith-Schuster and no one else is getting open or taking the pressure off, it's going to be a long year for the Steelers offense.

One of those guys the Steelers hope can do that is Diontae Johnson who the Steelers selected in the third round out of Toledo. Johnson has a lot of the same skills that Brown has, and if he can have a big rookie year that is going to be crucial.

The Steelers also resigned Eli Rogers and former Donte Moncrief who played last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. It's going to be a team job to replace Brown, but Big Ben seems excited with what he has seen, especially out of Smith-Schuster.
