The Pittsburgh Steelers have a problem on their hands deciding what to do with Antonio Brown but former Steelers coach Bill Cowher thinks there is still time to save the relationship and for him to come back to the team and thrive. Cowher thinks that a combination of close losses along with other factors festered into the big blowout.

“I can only look on the outside. I hear a lot of things,” said Cowher via the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. “It’s not fair of me to comment on things that I don’t understand, what the dynamic was inside the building.

“I do know that whatever it was, it was festering. The reaction that took place was not a one-time situation of a practice. What took place was the [combination] of things that took place that led to that. I think the best thing that can be done at some point is for those three individuals to get into a room, recognize how they got there, recognize where they are and is there any way to move forward?”

It's unclear if the Steelers have tried to have conversations with Brown but Cowher hopes that everyone can come together, talk out the differences and then move forward with the best interest of the team in mind.

“I’m hopeful that at some point, in my opinion, that coach Mike Tomlin, Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger will get in a room, shut the door and air their differences, and talk about where they are and see if there’s any way they can get aligned moving forward.

Cowher thinks that everyone has contributed too much to the team to let a few indifferences make them move on from the star receiver. If it's not fixable that is a different issue and Cowher does understand if the two sides can't agree, then maybe it is the best time to move on from him.
