Things seem to be trending in the right direction for star Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Najee Harris. The young running back is most likely going to be available for the Steelers' Wild Card game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Harris was officially listed as questionable for the playoff game on Friday due to an elbow injury. Steelers team reporter Missi Matthews tweeted the news Friday afternoon.

While listing his injury designation, Matthews also noted Harris' practice participation throughout the week. He did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Harris was a full participant in the Steelers' practice on Friday, which was expected to be a huge deciding factor in the young running back's game day availability.

This is a great sign that Harris will more than likely be able to play Sunday night, and his team needs him. The Steelers are double-digit underdogs going into the matchup against the Chiefs, and Harris' explosive run-game could be what keeps them in the race.

Harris has run the ball for the Steelers 307 times for a total of 1,200 yards. Out of these attempts, he has picked up seven touchdowns and 62 first downs. Harris' effectiveness and ability to make big plays is exactly what the Steelers need if they have any intention of beating the Chiefs.
