Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster was alone on Valentine's Day. It seems to be an unfortunate trend for the lightning quick pass catcher.

To remedy the situation, Smith-Schuster took to Twitter to hopefully try and find a valentine for next year. Although, the vibe he is sending is one of sadness, which may not get the best results. However, with 836K followers he has plenty of reach.

It has been a tough year for Smith-Schuster. The Steelers were close to the playoffs, only to have his fumble halt an already unlikely comeback.

On top of that, he does not know what his team will even look like next year. Star running back Le'Veon Bell is gone after sitting out the whole season. Though, James Conner did an excellent job filling in. So at least there is a plus for Smith-Schuster.

But alas, even his pass catching partner wants out. Antonio Brown and the Steelers had an increasingly growing rift as the season went on. The conclusion is that Brown requested a trade. It can only be hoped he sent Smith-Schuster an ‘It's not you, it's me' text to soften the blow.

If nothing else, fantasy owners will give Smith-Schuster a chance. He scored seven touchdowns in 2018 while averaging 6.9 receptions per game. There is no doubt that he will be the apple of fantasy owners eyes if they are looking for a solid WR2 option. Now, the season just needs to extend to Valentines Day 2020.

Steelers fans will still love Smith-Schuster. He can provide excitement to any play, and he has a reliable pass catcher. Unfortunately, it seems that it does not help him on love's national holiday.
