To cap off a drama-filled week for defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick in which he went from the Miami Dolphins to the Pittsburgh Steelers, he is already making his impact felt against the San Francisco 49ers:

After an interception of Jimmy Garoppolo early in the first half, Fitzpatrick was able to dislodge the ball from the hands of running back Raheem Mostert to force his second turnover of the game and the 49ers' third. San Francisco has already turned the ball over four times total.

Many people have criticized the move the Steelers made for Fitzpatrick because of the first-round pick used to acquire him. His interception and forced fumble help to silence those critics as Pittsburgh's defense looks much improved from the last two games.

As the Steelers put their faith in Mason Rudolph for the rest of the season, they hope Fitzpatrick can continue to be a playmaker on the defensive side.
