The entire NBA world was made witness to the destruction of the Phoenix Suns at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks. Few players relish the on-court demise of others like Patrick Beverley does.

The spitfire point guard locks horns with just about any opponent he faces, All-Star or role player. Pat Bev sent out a tweet shading the Suns with a prediction that one of their key players might feign an injury to lessen the blame against them.

“Yal stay locked in, let’s see who pulls the fake hurt move down a dub,” said Patrick Beverley with the Suns facing an insurmountable lead in Game 7.

Later on, reports surfaced that Chris Paul was seen “limping” out of the arena with a suspected quad injury, one he refused to comment on.

When people pointed out the news on Chris Paul to Patrick Beverley, the veteran had just two words that hinted that he's calling the Suns point guard's bluff.

“Stay woke,” said Pat Bev.

Chris Paul at his advanced NBA age of 37 very likely is dealing with injuries at this point in the season. It's never okay to clown someone for potentially being hurt.

But Patrick Beverley likely thinks that it could just be an act to elicit some sympathy after an embarrassing performance. What the truth is, we'll never know.
