Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum didn't suit up for Team USA in their last exhibition game against Argentina due to a sore right knee. While the last few days have been a mess for the Americans with their roster situation, the good news is Tatum was back at practice Thursday and participating in full, per The Athletic's Joe Vardon.

Tatum's injury was never believed to be all that serious, but it's still good to see him back out there at full strength already. This is especially true with some of the Team USA roster turmoil going on. Bradley Beal is out of the Olympics because of health and safety protocols, while Jerami Grant is in the protocols for precautionary reasons. The hope is Grant will be good to go for the Olympics, but it's not certain just yet.

Tatum is expected to play a key role for Team USA in Tokyo. He started the first game against Nigeria and then played 27 minutes off the bench against Australia. With Tatum out against Argentina, Zach LaVine got the start in his place.

Team USA's next game is scheduled to come against Spain on Sunday. There was supposed to be a rematch against Australia on Friday, but that was canceled due to the COVID-19 issues. It looks like Jayson Tatum should be back for the next game.
