The Oklahoma City Thunder grabbed one of its biggest wins of the season, taking down the streaking Toronto Raptors, who had won 11 straight games coming into Sunday's outing.

Russell Westbrook had one of his most efficient lines of the season with 37 points on 15-of-22 shooting from the floor, along with 13 rebounds and 14 assists — a fifth consecutive triple-double during the Thunder's six-game win streak.

Paul George commended his partner in crime for the way he managed to take over the game when it counted the most, attacking the rim relentlessly and making Toronto pay for every mistake.

“I’ve been in that moment. You just feel everything is slowed down,” said George, who finished with 22 points and five rebounds, according to Fred Katz of The Norman Transcript. “He dictated the tempo. He dictated the game. And that’s what it is, that’s what it’s like when you’re a star player, a superstar player. You get in that moment.”

The Thunder have managed to grab a chokehold of the fourth spot in the West, being one of seven teams in the ultra-competitive Western Conference playoff race holding a win streak after Sunday.

OKC is two games clear of the fifth-placed Utah Jazz and two games behind the Portland Trail Blazers — two teams that have been white-hot since coming off the All-Star break, holding streaks of nine and 13 straight games, respectively.

“We know what it takes down the stretch. All these games closing out, it’s going to be a playoff experience, playoff-type atmosphere. And we’re ready for that,” said George. “We understand what time it is.”
