The Oklahoma City Thunder dropped back to a below.5 00 record after a disappointing loss to the New York Knicks on Saturday night.

It was yet another lackluster team performance that embodied what has been a struggle for the Thunder through the first two months of the season. Much of this has centered around the cohesiveness on the floor between Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony.

This has been clearly exemplified through each of their respective shooting struggles this season, holding the three lowest shooting percentages for players averaging at least 15 shots a game.

What underlines these shooting woes is that they are the worst marks of each of their careers.Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony have had much difficulty in finding a game plan that can work best for all three of them flowing together offensively on the court.

The biggest issue has been their comfort with isolations situation, which has made it difficult for them to be an efficient scoring trio. Despite that, the Thunder's record has been able to remain around the .500 mark while they figure things out.

However, Oklahoma City may not have the entire season to work through their kinks given that George can become a free agent this upcoming offseason. If there isn't any progress made in their play together on the court, it could result in the front office possibly moving pieces to shake things up.
