Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague made the team's goal really simple throughout this see-saw end of the season in a tight Western Conference race.

“Just got to win two games,” said Teague matter-of-factly, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell.

The Wolves are within a game of the seventh-place Oklahoma City Thunder and have the tiebreaker over the Denver Nuggets, both boasting a record 10 wins over the .500 mark.

The season finale is bound to be a complete game-changer, as both of these teams will square up against each other in what's will determine a ticket to the postseason for one of them.

The Timberwolves could assure themselves a spot in the playoffs with a Nuggets loss and a San Antonio Spurs win tonight. The Nuggets would be eliminated if they lose tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers and consequent wins by the Timberwolves, Spurs, Thunder, and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Yet Teague wasn't consumed by the nerves, claiming he's not worried about any playoff scenarios.

“I just watched WrestleMania last night,” joked Teague.

When pressed for an update on All-Star forward Jimmy Butler and his minutes allocation for tonight's game against the Memphis Grizzlies, head coach Tom Thibodeau remained mysteriously noncommittal.

“He has a guideline,” said Thibodeau. “We want to see where he is conditioning-wise. I’m not going to get into the specifics. But we’ll see how he feels.”

Butler is coming off a torn meniscus injury, one the team will monitor closely in hopes to keep him healthy for a postseason run.
