In the world of professional sports, it has been a right of passage for rookies to take orders off the court from a few select veterans on the team.

This was the case for Minnesota Timberwolves rookie center Justin Patton as All-Star forward Jimmy Butler handed the 20-year-old a personal order following Friday's 119-116 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to John Meyer of the Canishoopus.

It is not out of the norm for rookies to get food for veteran players throughout the season that could range from breakfast, lunch or dinner. This often times involves a singular veteran player being in charge of overlooking a certain rookie on the team.

It appears that Butler has the privilege of having those duties with Patton that sounds like this may be a norm moving forward this season. This is just one of the things rookies have to go through as they often times have to wear little girl's backpacks to and from games both at home and on the road.

There has been some backlash on it sometimes going too far across the line, but in many instances, it involves rookies doing tedious tasks like this for their assigned veteran players.
