UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen is a hero. There's almost no other way to put it, especially not after the Bruins were able to overcome the depths of despair against the Texas A&M Aggies.

Rosen carved up Texas A&M in the Rose Bowl on the Sunday before Labor Day, hurling the pigskin to his friends for 498 yards in the air. For good measure, he tossed four touchdown passes to take down the Aggies 45-44 in Week 1.

All four of those touchdowns came in the midst of a 34-point comeback from a 44-10 deficit. Basically, Rosen put the Bruins on his back, passed go, did not collect 200 American dollars, and took them to what seemed like an improbable victory when his squad was down 34 points.

While each of the four touchdown passes were all important, none may have been as breathtaking in its unlikelihood as the following:

As for the touchdown that gave UCLA lead, that is an entirely different story. With the game clock quickly winding down, Rosen lined up as if the Bruins were going to stop the clock by way of spiking the football. Then, because of course, this happened:

To give credit where credit is due, it isn't as if Texas A&M fell for it. The corners had the receivers covered. It just happened to be a beautifully thrown ball by Rosen.

Many people across the country likely fell asleep before UCLA's epic comeback. It was the day before Labor Day, the Aggies appeared to have the game locked down, and who could blame someone wanting to catch an extra hour of two of sleep?

Those humans not awake to a different world than the one they went to bed knowing. It isn't UCLA falling in the season-opener. It is the Bruins standing undefeated, with Josh Rosen becoming a hero in the process.
