Charles Barkley, who's never been shy to share his opinions, recently shared why he has not succumbed to the latest technology like everyone else. In a video by NBA on TNT, Chuck confessed that he just got a new phone and admitted that he's a bit slow on the learning curve:

Charles Barkley may be a bit of a slow learner when it comes to technology. And it's not because he is intellectually incompetent:

“I don't use a lot of technology. I very seldom use my computer. Listen, man. I try to limit people[‘s] access to me because you know at some point they're gonna ask to borrow money. So I don't want people being able to reach me.

Though probably said in jest, there's a seriousness in Chuck's diction. During his heydey in the NBA when he was earning millions, perhaps he familiar with enemies turning into close friends, seemingly random people suddenly turning into relatives. Then all of a sudden, they want to borrow and even beg some money.

Chuck has always been blunt and frank. Apart from his comments on technology, Chuck recently shared his thoughts on the NCAA, as reported by Scott Gleeson of USA TODAY Sports:

“I've heard some of these idiots on TV say you gotta pay the players. Well, that sounds great in theory. I don't know who you pay. The basketball team? The football team? The diving team? The swimming team? That brings in women's sports, that brings up Title 9

“I've heard these idiots say (for NCAA players) to sell your likeness. That'd really bother me if I'm a decent player, not a good player. Everybody's going to buy Trae Young's jersey. But if I'm on that team and this guy is making an extra $3-4-500,000, that's not fair to me.
