Adam Thielen was able to return to the Minnesota Vikings after missing last week's game against the Washington Redskins but it appears as if he may not finish Sunday's game. According to Ben Goessling, Thielen is questionable to return versus the Kansas City Chiefs with a hamstring injury.

The veteran wide receiver gave it a go on Sunday but obviously his hamstring began to flare up once again in the first quarter. Thielen walked to the sideline early in the game and made his way with the medical staff to get checked out in the locker room.

Of course, Thielen came into this game with a hamstring problem so it is likely he reaggravated the injury he sustained in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions. As a result, the Vikings just may want to play it safe with their go-to wide receiver.

With Thielen exiting the game early, Stefon Diggs, Kyle Rudolph, and rookie Olabisi Johnson will be relied upon even more. Johnson has already caught a touchdown on Sunday and there's also a chance we see Irv Smith Jr. see an increased role in the offense.

This season, Thielen has combined for 27 receptions, 391 yards, and a team-high six receiving touchdowns. His presence alone in the offense makes things a lot easier for Kirk Cousins.

When the Vikings need a crucial third-down conversion, Thielen is the guy they try to target. The Vikings will undoubtedly turn to Dalvin Cook and the rushing attack more often with Thielen heading the locker room.

The Vikings boast a 6-2 record and are just one game behind the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North. An injury to Thielen would be detrimental for Minnesota at this point in the season.
