On Monday, it was revealed that Jeff Gladney has passed away in a car accident. It's not an easy situation by any means, as the former Minnesota Vikings' first-round pick was just 25 years old. He was selected in the first round of the 2020 draft class along with Justin Jefferson. The standout receiver sent a message to social media.

Justin Jefferson gave his condolences through Twitter. Although Gladney had been released by the Vikings and had just signed a deal with the Arizona Cardinals, Jefferson and Gladney likely bonded during their time together in Minnesota.

Furthermore, the Vikings franchise left a statement regarding the passing of Jeff Gladney as well. Many are saddened by the news as a young man lost his life. The former first-round pick was looking forward to a fresh start with the Cardinals where he could have forged a new career path for himself. He of course signed a deal with Arizona, “in March after a jury found him not guilty on a felony assault charge,” per ESPN.

Jeff Gladney built a reputation as a standout cornerback during his time at TCU. Former teammate Jalen Reagor also left his condolences, as he was one of the first to share the news of Gladney's passing.
