When you think of the best wide receivers in the NFL, Minnesota Vikings star Stefon Diggs probably won't come to your mind, and that's fair, because he is not really on the level of Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham Jr., or Julio Jones.

But that doesn't mean he isn't a really good wide out that any team would love to have.

Pro Football Focus cites a stat from Diggs in 2018 that shows just how deadly he can be in the open field.

The Minnesota Vikings receiver hauled in 102 receptions for 1,021 yards and nine touchdowns on the year overall, marking the best season of his four-year NFL career.

Diggs, who played his collegiate football at the University of Maryland, was originally selected by the Vikings in the fifth round (146th pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He immediately made an impact during his rookie campaign, catching 52 passes for 720 yards and four scores in 13 games. Then, the following year, Diggs was even better, snaring 84 balls for 903 yards while reaching the end zone three times.

The 25-year-old then registered 64 catches for 809 yards and eight touchdowns in 2017, and that postseason, he had one of the biggest plays in recent memory, catching a pass from Case Keenum, making a defender miss and strolling into the end zone as time expired to defeat the New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round.

Minnesota was not nearly as successful in 2018 as it was in 2017, however, as the Vikings went just 8-7-1 and missed the playoffs, one year after winning 13 games and making it all the way to the NFC Championship Game.
