Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook was a force to be reckoned with in the first half of the NFC Wild Card Game versus the New Orleans Saints. He is now picking up where he left off to help keep the momentum on Minnesota's side.

Cook was able to break the plane just before taking a devastating hit from linebacker Demario Davis for his second touchdown of the day to give the Vikings a double-digit lead, via NFL Twitter:

Minnesota has put an emphasis on getting the run game going behind Dalvin Cook, and it has paid huge dividends for the offense as a whole. While quarterback Kirk Cousins may not be proud wing eye-popping stats, he is making the necessary plays to keep the defense on their toes while complementing their ground attack.

Not only has this approach helped them put points on the board, but it has also prevented the Saints offense from finding their rhythm. Dalvin Cook will need to put together a few more strong runs if the Vikings hope to escape with a win.
