Golden State Warriors forward Eric Paschall decided to join in on the ā€œglow-upā€ trend and posted one of his own. While it's a testament to the rookie's hard work of getting in the NBA, considering he wasn't a highly-touted prospect, Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell hilariously roasted Paschall's feel good moment.

Well that certainly isn't as sugary as this tweet right here.

Obviously, Mitchell is just playing with his good pal with the ā€œstill ugly afā€ tweet.

The two childhood friends grew up and dreamed of getting into the NBA together. Donovan Mitchell made it first when the Jazz selected him with the no. 13 pick in 2018. When the two finally faced off against each other this 2019-20 season, Paschall's first year in the league, they made sure to have a nice little jersey swap to commemorate their brotherhood.

Obviously, Mitchell, in his third NBA season, has blossomed into a legitimate star in the league. The former Louiseville Cardinal made his first All-Star team this year and solidified his breakout with the way he played in the bubble and the 2020 playoffs. Though Mitchell and the Jazz fell out in the first round in disappointing fashion, there's a lot to be excited about Utah and the 24-year old's future.

As for Paschall, he certainly turned some heads with the way he performed in his debut campaign. Nobody really saw the 6-foot-6 forward to have an outstanding rookie season, granted that he was just a 2nd round pick. Nonetheless, Paschall certainly smashed the expectations for him. The Villanova standout made the All-Rookie First team and averaged 14.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 60 games for Golden State.

With the way his rookie season went, the Warriors have raised their expectations for the 23-year old. While he may not carry the same role into his sophomore campaign, Paschall should remain a reliable rotation piece for a Golden State team looking to bounce back next year.
