The Golden State Warriors' recent visit to former President Barack Obama during their visit to the nation's capital was one that was meant to be kept under wraps, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. The photo seen below was actually leaked through one of the security guards' Instagram account, which quickly went viral ahead of their matchup against the Washington Wizards.

Head coach Steve Kerr addressed matters after reporters asked about their meeting with the 44th president.

“That’s private,” said Kerr unequivocally. “Appreciate the question. Doesn’t mean I have to answer it.”

Following last year's public wrestling match with President Donald Trump, it was clear the Warriors had no intention of visiting the White House after electing not to go last season.

Golden State instead visited a museum of history near Kevin Durant's hometown of Seat Pleasant, Maryland; taking young kids alongside them to learn about the nation's past.

This time around, the Warriors opted to visit with Barack Obama, whom they visited once when he was still in office after winning the title in 2015; their first in 40 years.

Kerr and the rest of the team have been adamant in their support of the former president and their disapproval of the current regime, making this meeting with Barack Obama the no-brainer experience they looked to have after winning two consecutive titles.
