Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson may not be much of a talker on the court but his recent Instagram post speaks volumes. Thompson hilariously hints on a future BIG3 appearance when he posted a group picture starring him, Luke Walton, Carmelo Anthony, and Tracy McGrady.

If this winds up to be true years from now, this would be a hell of a lineup.

If you're wondering why and how these four NBA figures are posing for the same photo, they are currently in Qatar to tour the 2022 FIFA World Cup venues and conduct basketball seminars and camps for the youth.

The group will also interact with and even play with the Qatar women's basketball team while visiting American universities such as Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, Texas A&M and Georgetown that are based in Doha.

Rumor has it Thompson has set his sights on a potential signing with the Los Angeles Lakers when he enters unrestricted free agency in 2019. Thompson, a Los Angeles native, played under Walton when the latter served as an assistant coach for the Warriors. Walton, the current Lakers head coach, would want a second star to pair up with LeBron James and the sweet-shooting Thompson perfectly fits the bill.

Meanwhile, Melo is set to play for a new team this season, joining buddy Chris Paul and reigning MVP James Harden on the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are deemed to have the greatest chance to topple the heavy-favorited Warriors. They were just a win away from doing that last season and the arrival of Carmelo to Texas is expected to bolster the Rockets' campaign.

McGrady has been working on the basketball scenes as a mentor for young basketball players and an analyst for the NBA. Time will tell if he will suit up for the BIG3 league but his scoring prowess is indeed perfect for the tournament's style of play.
