Swaggy P, aka Nick Young, is at it again.

In advance of Wednesday's match between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers, Young had some choice words for the team on which he played for four years before signing with the Warriors in the summer, per Mark Medina of the Mercury News.

“I’m going to go in and try to kill them guys,” Young told Bay Area News Group in between laughs. “I’m going to be talking trash and just having fun.”

Young played for the Lakers from 2013-2017, and it was in Los Angeles that he came up with his jazzy nickname. He was somewhat of a fan favorite in a Lakers uniform, and frequently wowed the crowd with his streaky shooting and even moments like this.

Young didn't stop there with comments against on playing the purple and gold. He told Medina his assists were higher as a member of the Warriors because of the team's shooting prowess.

“Those guys couldn’t make shots,” Young joked. “I was passing, but they just couldn’t make shots. Here, we make a lot of shots.”

Apparently Kevin Durant predicted that Young would lead the team in shot attempts at least one game during the season, and per Medina, the game against the Lakers must just be the game to do it. Young has averaged 6.6 points per game in 13.4 minutes for the Warriors.

Wednesday's game should be fun to watch, if only to see just how far Young will take his jokes while on the basketball floor.
