One thing the Golden State Warriors are one of the very best at is developing players and getting the most out of them. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are all players experts didn't see as future stars. But look at them now. Jordan Poole could be the next player to do the same with the franchise.

Poole's third season appears to be his breakout year. He's averaging 17.5 points and 3.5 assists, and Steve Kerr believes he understands the reason for his development.

“I think he's physically stronger. I think he's able to absorb more contact…Think about his first year two years ago. If he had a clear lane to the rim, he could dunk the ball. Now it looks like he's getting up six inches higher,” Kerr told ClutchPoints.

Poole's journey to get to this point has been unique and different. He attended the NBA draft and didn't receive an invite. He got selected in the first round by the Warriors but wasn't sure if he would get drafted. Then Poole was sent to the G-League for an extended time his first two seasons. Now he's the starting shooting guard for the best team in the league.

Poole has struggled some this season. But whenever the Warriors need him most, he steps up to the challenge. Championship teams need players like Poole. A guy you can depend on to be aggressive no matter what.

Sometimes he'll have it going, and things are great, but sometimes, it will be tough. All contenders like the Warriors need players who don't fear failure because that's how you succeed, and that's Jordan Poole.
