If Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal makes an All-NBA team this season, he would become eligible for a super-max extension this summer.

The super-max extension would pay Beal around $194 million over four seasons starting in 2021-22.

It's not a guarantee that Beal will make an All-NBA team this season since the Wizards are likely going to miss the playoffs.

But if he does make it and the Wizards offer him the super-max, the All-Star guard has “no idea” if he would sign it.

“I have no idea. … I try not to (think about it),” Beal told Fred Katz of The Athletic. “I’m not gonna be naïve to it. I know about it. But … I haven’t even gotten that far, because I need to figure out what we’re gonna do in this offseason, where we’re going, which direction we’re going.”

Bradley Beal has two seasons remaining on his current deal. He signed a five-year, $127.2 million contract with the Wizards in the summer of 2016.

Beal is having a phenomenal season for Washington. The two-time All-Star is averaging 26.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game and shooting 47.6 percent from the floor, 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and 81.1 percent from the free-throw line.

The 25-year-old has said multiple times he wants to retire with the Wizards.
