Towards the end of the game between the Washington Wizards and the Charlotte Hornets, Russell Westbrook unleashed a massive spike right on Bismack Biyombo's face. Sure enough, teammates Bradley Beal and Rui Hachimura couldn't hold back their thoughts and had something to say about the emphatic finish.

Via Twitter, Beal even retweeted the clip to remind his followers on how nasty the slam is.

For Hachimura, the dunk was surreal to see in person.

It's definitely great to see Bradley Beal, Rui Hachimura and the rest of the Wizards hyping up Russell Westbrook despite the loss. Yes, it was a nasty finish, but it's just a consolation highlight since it was the Hornets who got the victory.

The loss broke the Wizards' two-game winning streak. They were close to snagging three wins a row for the first time since the second week of February. Unfortunately, they weren't able to boot the Hornets out.

There's still a ton of games left to play, but from the looks of it, the Wizards won't make it to the postseason. It's still possible, but they need to completely overhaul their energy and playstyle.

Meanwhile, the Hornets have won four of their last five games. They now have a 24-22 record and are in fourth place in the East. Even without LaMelo Ball in the fold, Buzz City is doing relatively well. Players like Gordon Hayward and Terry Rozier have been stellar for the squad.

The main task now is to keep their focus and squeeze out as many wins as possible. If the Hornets qualify for the playoffs, then it'll be the first time since the 2015-16 season.
