Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal put on yet another stellar performance against the Chicago Bulls. Unfortunately, his efforts were not enough to get this team back into the win column.

Beal scored a career-high 53 points in their 126-117 loss to the Bulls.

It is safe to say that Beal did all he could to help the Wizards avoid dropping their second straight game. He shot an efficient 15-of-27 from the field while going 5-of-11 from deep. Although the seven turnovers serve as a blemish on an otherwise strong outing, he also managed to tack on five rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 39 minutes.

Beal has been the lone bight spot in the disappointing 2019-20 NBA season for Washington. Although he is currently in the midst of a career-year, he found himself as arguably the most notable snub from the All-Star Game. As a result, he has since been on a mission to put the NBA on notice of his accomplishments.

Unfortunately, Beal has not had much help from the Wizards' supporting cast. Their struggles have largely caused his efforts to go unnoticed or unappreciated. Aside from forward Davis Bertans providing a much-needed spark off the bench, this team is struggling to conjure up enough firepower to turn the season around.

Washington currently finds themselves out of the playoff picture at the ninth seed with a 20-34 record, and there has been little indication of a potential resurgence. Regardless, Bradley Beal undoubtedly remains as one of the most exciting layers in the league to watch.
