John Wall is on a big-time comeback, not in basketball, but in the shoe industry. The four-time NBA All-Star returns to Adidas for a five-year sneaker deal.

Wall left the apparel company last September 2015.  The Wizards guard says that his decision to leave Adidas wasn’t easy as it was an eight-year deal that’s worth $66 million.

As enticing as it seems, Wall says that the contract featured incentives that he didn’t agree with. Because of this, Wall left Adidas and tried his luck as a free agent in the shoe industry.

Unfortunately, it didn’t land him any deals. It was surprising to him as his peers Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, and Stephen Curry all had their signature shoes. Now, Wall is satisfied with how the negotiations went.

The 27-year-old Wizard says that the main reason why the negotiations went a step further is because of the company’s change in leadership. He continues that the guys he previously worked before were either laid off or got fired.

Wall has been observed to be sporting Adidas shoes for weeks now. He even wore his old signature shoe, the John Wall 1 in a number of games in the past few weeks.

With this, it’s safe to say that there might be a new John Wall signature shoe coming soon. There’s already the John Wall 1 and 2. So there’s a big chance that the John Wall 3s are on the way.

The no. 1 pick of the 2010 NBA Draft even hints that he might have a new signature shoe in a year or two. With this, it’s safe to expect that we can see a new John Wall shoe anytime soon.
