The Washington Wizards will have to trot it out once again without star point guard John Wall on Tuesday, according to Candace Buckner of The Washington Post. The team is in dire need of a win, going 4-6 in their last 10 games, including three straight losses that have mired it in sixth place, with all teams above them already clinching playoff spots.

Wall has participated in two full-contact practices, but he is unsure of how many more he will have to participate in before he's cleared to take the court once again.

The Wizards have trotted backcourt mate Bradley Beal as the team's No. 1 scoring option, which has obtained mixed results with plenty of see-saw action in the past two months since his injury.

Wall noted his left knee was “totally fine” before some ailing contact on Nov. 10, which prompted the constant pain he's played under this season, along with his inevitable surgery to alleviate it.

The Spurs are also on a fierce race for the best possible playoff spot and they had hit stride at the right time, winning six straight before a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.

Both teams are in sixth place in their respective conference and missing their best player during this dire stretch, likely battling an equal war in hopes to snatch the next win from one another.
